My jeep was breathless == battery died -- so I checked the 'Net for good deals at Pep Boys, Sears, yada, yada, yada, What happened to good deals ????
I Googled "where can I find cheap batteries in Los Angeles" and whoop there it is -- Votec Battery on Yelp. Yelp never lets me down. After reading the reviews for Voltec I was excited to call the next morning and ask for "Joe."
Actually, my wife called while I was at work. Joe's company is awesome and nothing short of spectacular.. The Yelp reviews were 110% accurate. Joe sent his professional technician to our apartment (no waiting at a shop and no fee for sending his service tech out to our lifeless vehicle). The friendly tech tested the battery to confirm its death.
He checked the alternator. He made a repair on a cable and installed our new 6 year warranty battery (with free replacement if it goes bad in two years -- ALL OF THIS IN 15 TO 20 MINUTES and less expensive than the so called "heavy hitter" auto places. Also received the 5% discount for mentioning Yelp. No hidden fees, no up-selling -- just honesty and wholesome goodness.
Joe, your business, prices and service can't be beat. Thanks for making a minor hassle into an enjoyable experience. I will spread the word.
