Fraudulent used car dealer
|
I just bought a Volvo XC90 from these people in April 2019 I didn’t get to make the first payment on the car when the engine light went on. I then took the car back many times with the hope that they would fix it, but I started getting a feeling of getting the runaround, and by the way, I gave them A $10.000 down payment. This Miguel guy, the finance guy, makes it look like he is trying to help you, but he is just fingering you out he knows at the end he is going to screw you. He went as far as to assure me that he was going to get me a new car and exchange the one I had just bought. We even test drove an Audi Q7 this is how sleazy these people are. After this, I took the car to the Volvo dealer my self to get it diagnosed, and to my surprise the previous owner use the same Volvo dealer, and they knew the car's history. I was advised to take the vehicle back to the dealer I bought it from because fixing the car was going to cost over $12,000. Now I’m calling this guy that promise me that he was going to fix the issue and he won't ever come to the phone they have me going from one department to another without him coming to the phone whenever I call him for status.
I have hired a fraud attorney to handle the case. I will keep you guys posted in case anyone else needs to follow this case and needs a reference to my situation. If I can give you any advice stay away from this car dealer, they are a fraudulent dealer with the hope that you just won’t file a lawsuit. And if you have gotten a crooked deal from them or if you are in the same situation that I’m in please do not hesitate to hire a lawyer because if you don’t then you are falling into their trap that is precisely what they are hoping you do.
