Buying a car is supposed to be fun; well at DCH Chrysler Jeep Dodge of Temecula fun was far from my experience. I went in on a Saturday to purchase a car that I had seen online, the staff seemed just as excited as I was to be purchasing the vehicle, it was a lengthy process but finally the deal was to my knowledge done and I had a pre-owned car. Then Monday rolled around and I get a call from the finance department saying the bank will only finance the car if the interest rate is bumped to 16.99% and the payments well over $400. I took three hours off of work to go down there and sort this mess out. When I arrived, I was told that there was no way the interest rate could be changed but perhaps the payment could go down a little. Out of the course of three hours the interest rate changed three times and the payment as well, and then finally the deal was able to go back to what I signed for on Saturday. Now throughout these three hours, I told the finance guy, the sales guy, and that sales manager that I didn’t want to do this deal anymore and to give me my car back, I told them this about five times before finally getting so frustrated that I left my boyfriend to deal with them, which came down to telling them if my car wasn’t there is ten minutes the cops would be called. Car buyers beware!
