I was contacted by AW Autopro,by a Mr. David Mercy. Mr Mercy was very polite,seemingly educated and gave a professional presentation. He reviewed my needs and provided a plan for 4 years, for "only" #3640.00 and shortly thereafter asked for a 500 dollar deposit and what credit card was I going to use. At this time of course I didn't have any details and nothing in writing so I was reluctant to sign on.I told him I had to think about the plan and to review my budget. At this point he became insistent ( in a nice wa ) that I hang on as he will find some alternatives. I had already spent 20 minutes on the phone with him and was actually busy with something else I was working on. But ,no he didn't want me to disengage and kep telling me to hold on. Eventually I hung up. He or they just don't want you to get away from them ! He tried every trick in the book to kep me on the line. As i am somewhat wary of scams,having spent 35 years in law enforcement and private security,I began to smell a rat. I don't want to be boxed into a immedite decision on the phone,with no written contract,etcc,especially for $ 3400.00. SO I hung up.These are professional snake oil salesman,so buyer beware.Nice polite people who only want your first born !...Dan
